Scitech recently featured on Series 3: Episode 3 of the BBC1 programme Supermarket Secrets hosted by Greg Wallace and Nikki Fox. On the programme our Technical Manager, Stewart Selbie demonstrates how waste biomass, in the form of cauliflower leaves, can be converted into substrates to replace conventional plastics in food packaging. As a result of this programme, Scitech have teamed up with ASDA, who were also present on that episode, in an effort to commercialise Scitech’s technology.
